Chris Marsh Bio
I have aspired to photography for as long as I can remember. Not having the skill to paint or draw. I always felt photography would be the method I would use to record the beautiful things I see. In my teen years my father had a Nikon F 35mm camera and I have very fond memories of snapping images with it. That camera was a connection for me to my father I still enjoy reflecting on. My father, two brothers and I have been on many a road trips around the country. I recall many an argument was had over who would get to use the camera next. It would be years later that I would reconnected with my interest in photography. All my life I loved being out of doors. Many times wishing I had a camera and wishing I new how to use one. I decide to get started with a Canon Rebel 35mm. Now I'm shooting digital with Canon gear.
I found NWPLI doing a web search, looking for a group that might share the same interest in outdoor photography. What I found was more then that. I found a group of people with a lot of talent and a great willingness to share their knowledge. Thanks to that sharing my skills have grown many fold. My confidence in my abilities has me exploring new methods and styles of photography I never thought I would.
