Anthony Anzalone Bio

I graduated NYIT with a B.T. in Electrical Engineering Technology in 2001 and since then I have been working for a mid-sized company developing their website. I also do freelance web development for small businesses on the side.

In the past few years photography has become a serious hobby. My first digital camera was a Fuji Finepix s602Zoom. Although advanced for consumer digital camera at the time it still didn't give me the results I was looking for and I grew out of it very quickly. After about a year of following the higher end digital cameras it was time to invest some money and I purchased a Canon 10D.

A friend of mine first found the NWPLI while surfing the web trying to find people in our area who had the same interests as we did. We were looking for a group of people who were enthusiastic about photography, got together every once in a while and shared techniques and new places to "shoot" things. Although my favorite kind of photography is landscape, the NWPLI has opened me up to wildlife photography and just how challenging it really is. It's a pleasure to be a part of this group. I've learned so much in such a short period of time.
