Lauren Bryde Bio

I can't remember a time when I wasn't interested in nature/wildlife. I'm currently in school studying wildlife biology at SUNY ESF.
I got into nature photography in high school, and took a course in college, but my professor was really difficult to deal with, so I didn't pursue it more.
In the past 2 years, I've gotten much more serious about shooting, and over the last year I spent a lot of money on new toys to increase my skills - Canon 30D, Sigma 50-500mm, Sigma 1.4x teleconverter and a Manfrotto tripod and head.
Since living in Syracuse, I've focused more on landscapes, but in May I'll be moving to St. Petersburg, FL where I'm sure I'll find plenty of birds and sunlight to shoot.
