Chuck Nace Bio

I have always had an interest in wildlife and nature…so much so that it lead to two degrees in the biological sciences and an environmental career! My interest in photography really took off when I took an introduction to photography course as an undergraduate. The course opened my eyes to the world of photography and provided a great reason to invest in my first 35mm SLR, a Minolta X-700. My initial use of the camera was to primarily document the fieldwork that I was conducting but I soon grew enamored with trying to capture portraits of wildlife in natural settings. I have recently switched from film to digital (Minolta 7D).
