Dan Neri Bio

Dan Neri was born and raised on Long Island and has photographed, and enjoyed Long Island all his life. He started shooting at a very young age with a simple point and shoot, and family and friends could always count on the fact that Dan would have his camera with him.

An Olympus OM-10 was his first SLR, and after expanding the system all he could, it was time to graduate to AF SLR's. He quickly learned more about photography, and soon found himself shooting with profesional level cameras.

Beside enjoying the wonderful wildlife and nature photography opportunities that Long Island has to offer, Dan also enjoys shooting sports. By freelancing for numerous Sports Photography companies, and covering professional sports including the NY Yankees & Mets, The Islanders, Devils, and Rangers Hockey, Giants Football, and NHRA Drag Racing, Dan keeps busy all year long. Underwater Photography is also a passion for Dan, and although the opportunities to shoot underwater are far and few between on Long Island, Dan tries to get away every now and again to go for a dive.

Dan uses Canon EOS Pro Digital Cameras with a full array of Canon EF Lenses and Flashes, prints with Epson printers, and is capable of editing and transmitting images from the field.
